Identify what the quantity field actually represents
An export can report the last executed quantity or the cumulative filled quantity so far. Preserve the field definition, order scope and source version. The cited execution-report schema illustrates distinct fields for those concepts; other products and exports need their own definitions.
A column called filled is not sufficient evidence of either meaning. Do not infer an incremental model from the fact that each row arrived as a new message. Event count and executed quantity are different measurements.
Derive increments from one fictional cumulative sequence
Take an entered order quantity of 10 units and supplied cumulative observations of 3,5 and 8 for the same order and definition. Their successive increments from a known initial zero are 3,2 and 3. The latest filled-so-far amount is 8 and the conditional remainder is 2.
Adding the cumulative rows directly gives 16. That does not show sixteen units executed; it repeats portions already included in later snapshots. Preserve both the original cumulative values and the derived increments rather than overwriting the source column.

A lower later-arriving value needs explanation
If a snapshot showing 6 arrives after one showing 8, do not automatically treat the difference−2 as an execution reversal. It may be an older observation delivered later, a correction or a different scope. Preserve source event time and receipt time separately where supplied.
A changed order identity or replacement order can also reset the meaning of a cumulative field. Do not continue one running difference across that boundary without an explicit relationship. A missing initial state leaves the first increment unresolved even if later differences can be calculated.
Keep the quantity model separate from price and fee models
The case concerns one comparable unit within one fictional order. Contract counts, base-asset amounts and quote-asset amounts should not share a cumulative series unless the source provides a consistent definition. Currency conversion cannot repair an identity mismatch.
An implied remaining quantity is not a statement about an account’s available balance or a completed cancellation. Fees and other movements need their own records. This article does not inspect an account or send an order.
A first snapshot does not establish activity inside your review window
If the initial cumulative state is unknown, the first observed value 3 does not prove that three units executed during your chosen review interval. The difference between later compatible observations 3 and 5 can still support a two-unit increment over that observed segment. Report the coverage of each derived quantity separately. Do not invent an initial zero because the spreadsheet starts with an empty row; that choice can move older activity into a newer cohort.
Report the latest supported state and its coverage
A useful result states the order quantity, field semantics, cumulative sequence, known initial state and latest conditional remainder. Keep missing observations and corrections visible so a reviewer can reproduce the calculation.
The example authenticates no execution, establishes no venue behaviour and recommends no trade. All quantities are invented. It adds a state-versus-increment audit to an order reconciliation workflow without copying a cancellation-status procedure.
